Ways Alumni can contribute to the good things that happen at East
The Foundation for Madison's Public Schools is an independent, community non-profit organization dedicated to sustaining and extending the excellence of Madison's public schools by providing funding to support creative initiatives which cannot be funded through the core school budget. The Foundation:
- raises funds that will benefit children in Madison's Public Schools long into the future
- makes grants to creative and innovative projects that are outside the core school budget
- develops partnerships between the schools and community groups throughout Madison
The Madison East High Purgolder Boosters are an all-volunteer parent-run organization that provides financial support for 25 athletic teams. The Boosters raise money to purchase supplies, equipment, uniforms and/or capital items beyond what the school athletic budget provides. Each sports teams a parent representative on the Purgolder Boosters Board which meets monthly at East during the school year. Throughout the year, the Booster Club sponsors various events, provides concessions at various athletic events and sell East apparel. Learn more about the MEHS Purgolder Boosters at their Facebook page.
