Madison East High School recently hosted a delegation from Chiba, Japan, deepening the Wisconsin-Chiba sister-state relationship through cultural exchange, shared experiences, and new friendships between students.

The East High School community held a Land Acknowledgement Ceremony to uplift and celebrate the inherent sovereignty and cultures of the Indigenous First Nations in what’s now referred to as Wisconsin.
