STEP TWO - IN PERSON AT EAST HIGH SCHOOL
Complete the process by attending one of the enrollment dates at East High School.
- Friday, August 16th: 11:00am - 6:00pm OR
- Monday, August 19th: 7:30am - 1:00pm
Please enter through Door #2 (Fourth Street small parking lot entrance).
Note: Parking is extremely limited due to construction.
Can students complete the enrollment on their own or do they need to have a parent with them? A student does not need to bring their parent with them. Please make sure the online enrollment and digital device agreement is complete. If they will be paying any fees, be sure they bring a check with them made out to East High School.
Do fees have to be paid at in-person enrollment? No. Fees may be paid online with a credit card at any time without a service fee or by bringing a check to East’s Main Office after school begins. The District sends out monthly invoices for all fees owed once school begins. Waivers can be requested for some or all fees.
What is the consumable fee for? Classroom supplies.
What is the activity fee for? This covers co-curricular District costs, i.e. materials and staff time not supported by club activities, anything non-athletic. All students can participate in any activity. This is a Board of Education fee that is part of the District budget.
Who are planners required for and why? The planner is required for all freshmen and AVID students. Planners are used as a learning tool to keep students organized and there include important dates.
What is the Student Athletic Spectator Pass for? The athletic pass is available to all students, and can be purchased at any time throughout the school year though it is recommended to purchase during enrollment, to get the most value out of it. The cost is $20 and the pass gets students into all regular season East HOME games during the school year for varsity level contests. Regular game tickets are $3 each, so if students plans to attend more than seven home varsity events throughout the year, this pass will save money. Students that purchase an Athletic Pass will need to bring their school ID to every home game, in order to get in without purchasing a ticket. Their East school ID will have an “A” printed on it denoting their Athletic Pass. Athletic passes are printed directly on the student ID. If students purchase the athletic pass later, they will need to have a new ID printed.
Do students have to get their photo taken? Yes. Pictures taken by Lifetouch are used for the school ID for ALL STUDENTS. Parents also have the option of purchasing a photo package. There will be one make up picture day on October 17th for retakes and for those that missed ordering a photo package.
If a student is absent during enrollment week, how can they get their photo taken? Lifetouch will be at East on Monday, September 16th for students that weren’t able to attend enrollment. Students should bring their receipt with them if they paid for the Athletic Pass, as that will be printed on their ID card.
If students aren't able to attend enrollment on August 16th or 19th, can a parent pick up their Chromebook for them? No. Students must present their ID and complete the District Device Agreement to receive their Chromebook. At this time, they will also log in using their password to make sure they are able to sign in.
When will students get their schedule? In order to receive their schedule, online enrollment must be completed first. During enrollment on 8/16 and 8/19, after East staff verify that the online enrollment is complete, students will pick up their schedule in the cafeteria.
Here is our Daily Bell Schedule.
Do yearbooks have to be purchased during Enrollment? No, but the price of the yearbook goes up from $47 to $50 after 1/1/20.
What do students need to do to sign up to play a sport? Every student-athlete is required to have a physician’s physical clearance card/report on file, in the Athletic Office. A physical is valid for two school years, if completed after April 1st of each year. The student's physician's office fill out a WIAA Physical Clearance Form. Students may bring their physician a Green Card from East Athletics, or print the clearance form from the WIAA website, for their physican to fill out. Most medical facilities have the printable versions of this form on hand. The student AND their parent also need to complete the Online Athletic Eligibility Forms using their Parent Portal and Student Infinite Campus log-in information. Please contact the school at 204-1600 if this information has been misplaced, or reset password online.
Can Athletic Participation Fees be paid during registration? Athlete's coach will reach out when they begin collecting fees for their sport. The fee will not appear in the “Fees” tab in Infinite Campus until coaches have finalized rosters and have submitted those rosters to the Athletic Office; this usually occurs after the first week of practice or tryouts.
Once fees are in Infinite Campus, they may be paid online, without a service fee, at any time, or payment can be made via check or cash in the Athletic Office. Please make checks payable to “East Athletics” and be sure to include to the student’s full name, ID number and sport in the Memo line.
