East High School is again partnering with Equal Opportunity Schools (EOS) to identify and recruit underserved students into Advanced Placement courses during 2020-2021.
Advanced Placement courses offer students many benefits:
- Students who take the AP course exam in the spring could receive college credit, with qualifying course grade and exam scores.
- Students will experience college-level course rigor before entering post-secondary education
- Students will benefit academically from the challenge of advanced level coursework, improving their skills and building confidence.
In order to identify students with AP potential for active recruitment into the appropriately-rigorous courses, we are asking all students to complete the EOS survey.
